Family Attachment Base Safe Trust FABS Awhi Awhi was formed in 2007 to promote the concept of “attachment” which is the formation of an emotional bond between parent and child and to run and promote the BASE and SAFE programmes. This website is designed to priovide you with some basic information about the activities of the Trust and its programmes. FABS Awhi Awhi---Teaching Us To Care--- incorporates a team of professionals and educators. It offers New Zealand society the opportunity to create a safer environment for its children, to work towards eliminating child abuse, violence and aggression from the community and to encourage the development of empathy toward others.
